Paul Wurth S.A., located in Luxembourg-Hollerich since its creation more than 150 years ago, has decided this year to support the Stëmm vun der Strooss. As part of a charitable action to help the people in need, a special donation was made by the group. On the initiative of Benoît Greiner, the managing director and Sonia Casteran of the Paul Wurth Geprolux, a warehouse located not far from the social restaurant at 7, rue de la Fonderie in the Hollerich district was generously made available to the Stëmm until the end of 2021.

The association Stëmm vun der Strooss, whose aim is to carry out and promote activities related to the representation, information and defense of the interests of excluded social groups or those at risk of exclusion, had launched an appeal to this effect with the approach of winter.

Charles Bechet, head of the Hollerich site and Alexandra Oxacelay, director of the association met with representatives of the Paul Wurth group during the handover of the keys. Grateful, the director took the opportunity to stress: “As you were able to see during your recent visit to our premises, this hangar will be of great aid to us. It will serve as a storage room in which we can accommodate, for a short period of time, those items for which we do not have sufficient space.”
