Project « Südspidol» – Hospital Center Emile Mayrisch
Adopted in December 2011 by the Luxembourg Governing Council, the “Südspidol” project involves the construction of a new innovative hospital that will bring together the three sites of the Emile Mayrisch Hospital Center. Produced by the Austrian architects Albert Wimmer-ZT-GmbH and Architects Collective, the hospital of tomorrow will seal a new dimension for CHEM and, above all, for the future health of the population of the South. Architectural avant-garde, focused on functionality and endowed with an innovative medical concept, the new hospital will represent a real added value to medical care for patients. The new hospital will benefit from a central location, close to shops, and will integrate into the urban landscape of the city of Esch / Alzette.
