Kannercampus – School and sports complex in Belval-Sud
The school campus includes four school buildings on the Belval-Sud site. The urban composition aims on the one hand to adapt to the particular topography of the site by placing each element at an appropriate level and on the other hand to complete the masterplan of the industrial site by taking advantage of its inherent qualities.
The project uses small buildings arranged in a rectangular grid to extend the urban fabric of the district and fluctuating public spaces that are part of the natural spaces of the master plan. Public spaces are arranged to develop a structured and fluid space between the “Wassertrap” on the lower level and the park with the residential area on the upper level.
